Special construction

The Siri® X-Protector consists of multiple sub-ropes braided together in a uniformed cylindrical shape sleeve. The construction of each sub-robe is 12-strand braided for optimizing the effectiveness and performance in demanding conditions.

Made from high quality HMPE fibers

The Siri® X-Protector is made from special blend of Siri® HMPE fibers carefully selected for the high performance in working conditions. HMPE (High Modulus Polyethylene) fibers exhibit very high abrasion resistance in marine applications and is the ideal option for manufacturing durable chafe protective equipment for working mooring lines. In-house testing for the properties of Siri® HMPE fibers is carried out by KATRADIS RnD team has shown excellent performance.
