LCP-Siri S12® (with Vectran™) COVERED are high-performance LCP ropes that have been developed for demanding applications and offer the unique characteristics of Vectran® fibers: Minimum Creep, endurance to high temperatures and superb abrasion resistance
LCP-Siri S12® (with Vectran™) COVERED Ropes consist of a 12 strand High Modulus Vectran® core over-braided with a highly abrasion-resistant polyester jacket.
The use of the special NikaThane coating application on the Vectran® fibers and the superior in-house Linear Structural Preformation (LSP) process provides a high-quality robust rope construction with higher strength efficiency and excellent abrasion resistance. The jacket protects the High Modulus load-bearing core against abrasion and UV/environmental degradation and thus prolongs its service life.
Additionally, LCP-Siri S12® (with Vectran™) COVERED ropes are also available with the special application of Prisma® Shield Technology (under the brand of VectranPrisma-Siri S-12 DB®)
